For those of you who use video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, Microsoft Clipchamp or any other software, you usually experience this problem when you want to cut a video. Almost all video editing software will usually always re-render a video even though we actually only want to cut part of the video. As a result of re-rendering, the file size usually becomes large and is often even larger than the original file size. But did you know that there is an easy way to crop a video without re-rendering it? And the cool thing is, you don't have to buy or spend money on software to do it. Because the software is already available by default in Windows.
Since I am using Windows 11, I will explain these tips based on what is in Windows 11.
Please open the video that you want to cut through Windows Explorer. Right-click, then click Open With and select Photos.
All you need to do is click the Trim button on the top left corner.
Please shift the position of the slider at the bottom according to the start and end position of the video you want to cut.
Next, just click Save or Save as Copy.
It's done. Yes... It's that simple.
