My Ingress Story : Jurong Garden, Hardest and the Most Memorable Mission Series Badge I Ever Take

January 7, 2018, was actually the day before I left Singapore. That time, I actually didn’t have a plan to take another Mission Badge series. Because I was afraid I couldn’t finish them. I want to have more relaxation time on the last day of my vacation. After visiting Haw Par Villa, I decided to go to the Chinese Garden. This was my second time going there. The first time Was about 10 years ago, when I hadn’t played Ingress. Around 5:00 PM, I was already at Chinese Garden MRT Station. At that time, it was raining heavily. So I had to wait at the station before entering the Chinese Garden and Japanese Garden.

I started to enter the Chinese Garden around 6:20 p.m. The rain has already stopped. At first, I didn’t check the missions on my Scanner because I decided only to capture the portal to get an Unique Portal Capture and Visit. But after I walked around, I just realized that there were Only 3 rows of Mission Badges to finish. I think it would be an easy mission to take before I go home to my country. So I started the mission at 7:05 PM. I had To go back to the Chinese MRT Station, where the first portal needed to be hacked. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking around, I had already completed 14 mission badges out of 18 total mission badges. It was already dark. At that time. When I took the 15th mission, I just realize that the portal for this mission requires me to go inside the Japanese Garden. The gate connecting Chinese Garden to Japanese Garden was already closed, and it’s said that Japanese Garden is only open from 05:30 AM to 17:00 PM (actually, this is the time when I started this mission). OMG. I was kind of frustrated at that time. Because I had to check out of the hotel and go to the airport the next day.

So I need to go back to this garden tomorrow morning. After checking the Singapore MRT and bus timetables, I decided to go back to this place the next morning. The next day, on January 8, 2018, i woke up very early. It’s still 5:00 AM. i decided to go out of the hotel at 5:10 AM, and I walked directly to Kallang MRT Station (the nearest station from my hotel by walking). I had already arrived at Kallang station at 5:20. The MRT The station was still closed, and I had to wait about 15 minutes before it opened. This was my first experience of taking the first MRT train in Singapore. I took The last MRT train during my visit to Singapore three years ago. It’s actually A really memorable experience. I finally took the MRT at 05:45 AM in Kallang, And it took about 45 minutes to go from Kallang station to the Chinese Garden Station. I arrived at Chinese Garden Station at 6:00 a.m. It’s still dark, and it’s raining again. Damn !!! Hahaha… I decided to wait a little bit, and after 15 minutes, the rain had slightly subsided. I decided to walk to the garden Even though the rain was still drizzling. The Japanese Garden was opened like it said at the gate. I had just finished the 15th mission badge before it started. Raining heavily again. OMG !!! Fortunately, I found the Toilet Building in The Japanese Garden to take shelter. The rain was so heavy at that time that it It was impossible to continue the mission. Fortunately, I had a raincoat inside my Bag. After waiting about 15 minutes, I decided to continue the mission even though it was still raining heavily. I took off my shoes and left them on the toilet, and I walked barefoot. 😃 After about 20 minutes of walking in heavy rain, I finally completed the missions. I think this is the hardest mission i've taken since I started playing Ingress. It’s not because of the mission, actually, because of the timing and the weather.

Anyway, this adventure is really fun for me. Because it needs effort and I have a memorable memory. I can meet a new friend, and I can Explore some places i've never been before.

Thank You #Ingress #Niantic

Studi tentang Yiguandao (Bagian 1) - Tiga Masa Pancaran 三陽

Mendapatkan b...

Terjemahan dan Penjelasan Daodejing 道德經

Untuk membantu pemahaman, saya membaca beberapa buku penjelasan mengenai Tao Te Cing yang bagus salah satunya adalah buku Dao De Jing Kitab Suci Agama Tao tulisan Dr. I. D. Like Msc dan Dao De Jing The Wisdom of Laozi tulisan Andi Wang . Ada juga beberapa buku terjemahan Dao De Jing berbahasa I...
